Back when I mean and made my dogs live out side I never had a coon opossum beaver or wood chuck that gave me a problem but I got soft and my dogs live to good life now and stay in doors most of the time. My oldest dog was an out door dog till his daddy died and then he came in. His daddy was good at taking care of things but he got old and passed a few years ago. Now if I did let my dogs out and they saw a coon then that poor coon would most likely meet his match and then some since the type of dog I have is known to be real killers. but mine are sweet lick a person to death dogs
