Bio-Diesel is a viable alternative now. Why do we need more research money to show us how to 'crack' Ag oils? There are even some Ag oils that can be burned raw in diesels with minor mods. Two come to mind. One is rape seed oil (do some research on the net). The other is one that ALL of the Politicians (both the Dems and the Reps!) and the Oil companies want you to never have a chance to grow or use. This second one has the potential to save your family farms for generations to come, but you will never have the chance. Do some research on the uses and yields of this second plant and you may have your eyes opened as to the potential of presently available viable alternative fuel and Ag commodities. Jefferson grew it Washington grew it. Your Grandfathers grew it, but you will never have a chance in the present climate of this country or the world economy. Hemp
