I was at Shopko a couple years ago and walked by some corduroys on clearance for 2$ each. Some off brand with "america" in the name, but we know what that means--not made in america. The only other downfall of those pants was some minor razor blade treatment to some hems for a "cool factor." I thought what the heck, I can wear them to work and look nice and if i spill acid or oil or any other fluid on them, i wont be out as much as the 12-16$ jeans or work pants supposedly made for working that only last a week. I have one of those irony jobs in auto parts customer service where you have to look your best but do dirty stuff to help a customer and then get written up right after you did something you were supposed to because your pants now have a stain or hole in them...(the parts store's proximity to corporate office sure makes a difference i've learned)
anyway, back to the story, I get 2 pair of each color, so it's 8 pair of pants. At the checkout, i get invited to sign up for a store discount program membership and i get a dollar off of each. So for 6 or 8 dollars i have had the same work pants for 2 years and only 2 pair have noticable tears, stains, or acid holes. Finally somethin exceeded my expectations. I ended up using 3 pair for church and casual instead of work.

I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
