For some reason, I remember this: Many years ago in a Field and Stream or similar type of magazine there was a cartoon of a man driving a Suburban/Bronco-ish type of vehicle with a mesh screen between the front seat and the rear seat, similar to what a cop-car would have. The driver was a sportsman in full hunting attire. The passenger was the hunting dog hanging his head out the window, obviously enjoying the ride. The wife was in the back seat.
