google Cofer Mfg in KS for ideas to copy. Also, Bulldog jacks mounted on a stand work well, especially if you put wheels under. I made steel wheels for my shop hoist using 6 inch pipe and round steel plate for the centers. Beefed up hubs were made from 2 inch shaft, drilled for 3/4 inch shaft axles. Hoist pivots 90 degrees, spans 19 feet, carries a 2 ton hoist on a homemade trolley.
