Use about 2# sugar per gallon, an actual winemakers yeast(not stuff for bread) and you should have a good wine. I've been doing it for years. There's a lot of other stuff you can get at any winemakers shop to help clarify etc. Usee Camden tablets to sterilize containers and kill stray bacteria.
