With out a scanner, an easy way is to build a copy stand for your digital camera (from the looks of your images, your camera is OK for the task) A easy solution is to buy a clamp on camera mount ("C" clamp with a pivot and 1/4"X20 threads for the camera base) Ues a small stool or bench for a holder, and place the images (photos) on a flat surface to take the pictures. (the camers needs to auto focus to 500mm or so) A piece of non reflective glass (from a frame or glass store) to hold the photos flat can help. The least expensive professional grade software (which I use) is Corel Photopaint. It is also intuitive to use. A guide is important to get started. In the US the software is about 150$ US The entire Suite of Corel Graphics with illustration and screen capture modules is ~400. Corel 14 is current. Jim
