My only Prius experience is with a 2010 model. They made some big changes to them, compared to 09 and down. I have heard the same complaint from others that drove /rode in an 09 or older, but ride was one of the dozens of changes they made to the 10 model. If you get a chance, ride in a 2010 model and see if it changes your opinion. The magazine stories say that better ride and better seats are the most noticible change with the 10 model
They still have the hard, low rolling resistance tires with 35 psi in them on a very light car. That does put a little rumble in the ride.
