Funny you should talk about wires. I just watched a show the other day, Minutes from diaster, I think it was, were cracked insulation on wires in a 747 TWA 800 plane caught a near empty fuel tank on firs. High voltage wires that were cracked, jumped spark to low voltage wires going into the fuel tank, and caused a fatal explosin. Pretty good show.
