I used to live in the Pacific Northwest and worked for a Navy base there. The Navy would interview an individual from California or Florida or a midwestern state in August. Now the Pacific Northwest is drop dead gorgeous in August--high 70's to low 90's for temperature, minium rain and the trees/grass are green right down to the blue water. Of course these individuals would take the job THEN in September it would start to rain and by April or May, with it still raining, those same individuals would be "going home" feeling like they had been snookered and very depressed.
