Hi, Ken, like your question. As you probably read in an earlyier post to the young lad that wanted to know what kind of tractors we liked; I have three IHC 806's, an IHC 560, a gas Fordson Major, and a W6. As for chores in the winter, I rarely start any tractors, use a 3/4 ton to feed the cows. In the summer,for haying, the 560 stays on the haybine, the Major stays with the hay rake, one 806 stays with the baler and one 806 has the loader attached full time. The reason for this is the way my land is spread out, don't have to keep switching tractors around on different equipment. mornings are for cutting hay, early afternoon for raking and late afternoon/evening for baling, weather starts to get adverse, I haul hay home with a three ton truck, 11 bales at a time. As you can see all my "antique" equipment sees regular duty, oh, by the way, the W6 is used for rakeing when the Major feels "tired". Working the ground for seeding is much the same, but only the 806's are used. Generaly one is on the plow, one on the disc/harrows, and the third for seeding, but never in the same field at the same time.
