I have a Ford F700, it took a while for the office to figure out what it was, but the insurance rates (State Farm) are reasonable to the value of the truck. I don't run it for hire, just my own stuff.
The value of the truck is probably the big deal with any heavy vehicle. A $100,000 Peterbilt is just plain expensive, no matter how you look at it.
