I think the reason it has taken so long to fix there fly by wire is, they don't want to have to put a new computer in millions of cars. Anybody on this board knows if the pedal needed to be shorter, just take it off and cut 1/4 inch off and use it till the new part comes in or a sticking area, lube and give more clearance. I think it's more serious and deeper than those.
