My Daughter has an old Case 400 she found at a farm sale...worked fine for a couple years and this winter started having a problem. The tractor would start fine, but when you let out the clutch, it would kill the motor. I drained the diffrential, as it had some water in it. i thought maybe the bull gear was froze. Put new oil in and now it is the same. Starts, runs, but when you try either forward or reverse--kills the motor. Any ideas??
