I'm wondering if a snow-blower may be appropriate, clearing a sheltered lane where there's nowhere to push or dump snow easily. Ideally it needs to go over a fence about 8'-10' away. I've a few questions Is my MF35 powerful enough? Rated 35HP at 2000RPM, so I guess about 20hp is available at 1500, giving 540rpm at the PTO. Does this sound enough? Blower would need to be 68" wide to clear width of the tractor. 1500rpm in reverse would be 1.33mph (or about 5mph which sounds much too fast). Finally (at last), can a blower handle most types of snow? Worst for us is when it drifts as it's thawing so the snow is quite heavy. Thanks in advance, AES
