Perhaps you guys can help.
I just bought a 94 Chevy 3500 diesel truck cheap. The previous owner took it on trade and couldn't get it to start, and, not knowing anything about diesels, just wanted to dump it. Now, with the history out of the way:
-The glow plugs apear to work(at least a few of em), and upon cranking it, it'll smoke like heak and chug on a couple cylinders, though not enough to keep runnin. -I've tried a spritz of ether, and it makes it stop chuggin until the ether is worked out of it. -I've pointed a propane torch in the direction of the intake so it sucks in nice warm air, but with no results. -I've replaced the PMD(fuel driver) with a known good one, with no results. -There is fuel pressure, and also there is fuel pulses at the injectors.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
