Make sure that the cows are in good condition, their vitamins are up to snuff... and keep the hell out of the way. If you're not sure where their vitamin levels are (if you haven't been feeding a suppliment), it wouldn't be a bad idea to give them a shot of Selenium, vitamin B complex and some AD500 according to label recomendations. Cows low in Selenium often do not clean afterwards... and that's not something you want to deal with when one needle will prevent it.
