We had a Farmall Cub low-boy for a lawn mower when I was a boy - with a belly mount IH 5' 3 blade rotary mower. It did a good job - for real heavy cutting an A or Super A may be better as they are alot more powerful than a cub . It would raise up to 8-10'' high - that would probably work for clipping pastures. I imagine a Woods mower would give similar results.The main advantage of the low-boy is much better clearance under tree branches than any of the other tractors you mentioned and also lighter -better on soft ground.
