I suspect if it were a civil, open-minded debate they might stay up awhile. But these discussions so quickly turn to insults and personal attacks...see below!!! I have several forums I look at daily and this one is by far the most abrasive when these subjects subjects come up. I also frequent a couple sites for guys restoring older 2 stroke street bikes. There was a climate change discussion there a few weeks ago. Not to say that it was a "Love fest" by any means, but really all in all a good debate with both sides making an honest effort to a fair debate. Personal attacks were kept to a minimun and apologized for when caught. When motorcycle guys cant debate a subject more intelligently than tractor guys, something is amiss.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
