There are thousands and thousands of tractors with calcium chloride in them. It is also mentioned is just about every tractor owners manual ever printed. It's not like you put it in the tire and it immediately starts rusting the rim. You put in a new valve core and a good valve cap and 99% of the time, you have no problems.
