My thanks to all who serve! I had almost 3 years during WW II, Army, England, France, etc. Wounded in northern France in October, '44. Lost left foot in action. Discharged in late '46. No regrets--had to be done--went with the Draft call. Tried to enlist, but i was so skinny, they could read the paper right thru me, if i stood in front of a strong light! Am still that way now. 85+ years of age-still working with tractors/mowers/equipment.
