5 miles to a town of 15,000; 35 miles to a college town of 45,000. The local hardware & lumber stores are so high prices so many drive the 35 miles to the box stores.....
Local town is down to a satellite JD dealership & a NH partsplace/Kubota dealer. Use to have Allis & IHC & Oliver.
Got a Ford car dealer, All-combined Chrysler/Jeep dealer (of late combined), and the GMC issues are hard to sort out - Pontiac. Buick, Caddy in one, and the Chevy dealer has been dead for 1/2 a year. No idea what will be saved from all that, would make sense to make a Buick/Chevy dealer out of the 2, but I won't hold my breath.
