When I was a kid- teenager (Vietnam era) we raised kidney beans, and had to dry out and get the leaves off the bean plants before "pulling" and combining the beans- used a defoliant product called Shed-A-Leaf, sprayed with a boom sprayer- knocked the leaves off the plants real fast. And guess what it came in- big orange drums- sound familiar??? I can remember guys siphoning that crap and getting a mouthful more than once- and I used to get the job of running behind the sprayer, hooking and unhooking the calibration bottle at the measurement lines, as you had to check the rate with the compound you were going to spray, not plain water- breathed more than my share of that stuff, plus Sevin, M45, Eptam, Parathion, Guthion...
