Those were simpler times indeed. Communication is so good today that there is instant spread of good or bad information. A fellow could have a little time to think on something out in the field while on the tractor in the good old days. Decisions weren,t made so instantly as they are today. I saw where ATT is proposing to abandon all of the permanent land lines on poles in the near future due to expense to maintain. Man, how the world is changing. Hate to see it go in a way.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
