The only bad deal I ever got involved with was on a one ton used truck for our Fire department. Every time I called the price kept changing and when we got there to look at it, the price kept going up. On top of which the lieing SOB's had rigged the rear end in the truck with new bearings but didn't fix the problem... and the rear end went a few weeks later. At our cost. They were so polite to point out that the truck was sold 'AS IS'. Too bad it wasn't an 'AS IS' price. Otherwise... on any large piece of farm equipment or heavy equipment I've ever bought, service has been good. There were a couple notable exceptions on smaller items not performing up to spec... but adjustments were made.
