10 ft bladed pull behind grader:anyone know something about them?

over 5 years ago my father traded a working old tractor and a few junk iron pieces to my cousin in law for an antique road grader. it is a standup version(guessing since the only place the operator could have been is on the metal grating located at the rear) has metal wheels to turn the blade and adjust for height. all the gearboxes and wheels are in good condition(they even still work), the body is in good condition. blade still in tact. all in all a testament to the way they built things back then. anyways he was curious so had it appraised, appraiser actually said it was a pre-eight foot blade version, one of the first type made. incidently it has no enginge just an offset hitch with hole about 10 foot long sticking out the front of it. any further info would be much appreciated, if possible. thanks.
