hi john deere still has the paint you need and they are cheaper than any aftermarket supplier. trust me i was in the business for 25 years.as far as wipe down it depends on what your wiping. the aged finish will be syn. enamel new primer may be enamel or laq. based depending on what you used. a good way to go is wipe down with dupont 3812s syn. thinner and use it to thin your john deere color the reducer deere sells drys way to slow.also i would use a aftermarket hardener i the color really helps with durability. any ? just let me know thanks john
