I have a Ford 4600 with a Dunham Lier loader on it. Mostly use it for moving sawdust, shavings, plowing snow, light dirt moveing. Well years ago the rod that goes from tire to tire, or steering spindles was bent, so it was rubbing against the tractor frame. I took it off, straightend it and welded a piece of angle iron on the back of it so it cant bend again. Works fine. Well now I see my Ford 1720 4wd w/loader has a bent rod! I dont beat these tractors, so why do the steering rods bend? Now I gotta pull this rod, straighten it and put angle iron on it. Does anyone else see that happening on there loader tractors? My Ford 4610 with out a loader the rod is fine. j
