I don't know what there is to repair on a FP monitor. The resident Geek at work says to just dumpster one that isn't working right. They are too cheap to screw with. I'd just go to wallyworld and get a new flat panel. I got a 22" Dell for $140 last summer. As the CRTs die or get un-comfortable for me to read, I replace them with flat panels. Have them on the plasma system and shop computers. I like billboards rather than street signs.
