That's the whole problem here, they throw out numbers without saying what the numbers mean. "Profit" could mean anything from gross sales to net profit after all expenses, taxes, and depreciation. Who knows what Rockefeller was talking about? Not me.
What percentage of our tax dollars would actually go toward benefits if the government managed it? Government employees make very good salaries, have the best benefits around, and are (by reputation at least) not the most productive workers in the country...
