I watched the news during the debates on this and a Senator(Rockefeller)for West Virginia said the profit for the biggest Health Insurers in the United States,I think thats 5 companies maybe,less than 10,together had a 200 billion a year profit.I also see where they only get 2.2% profit per year.You cant ever trust a companys figures when it puts them on paper in the news.Its pure fiction.Well also if 2.2% is 200 billion thats a very big pile of money.Also they had over 20% overhead.Plus they paid lots of big wages and other stuff the people that run Medicare dont get.So if you cut some of that overhead,cut some of those big salaries,cut some of those jobs that are like just somebody wasting space,you would maybe have 15% a year or more profit.Also Rockefeller wants to tax them 150 billion of that 200 billion if they dont fix these problems to help insure some more uninsured people.I dont like Rockefeller,I dont live in West Virginia,but this seems like these greedy people are asking for stuff like this to happen.Now look that up yourself.It was maybe September or October on the news when Rockefeller was saying this stuff.
