I see your point. Seat belts are the law and fines are good because it is too expensive to pay for people on life support.
.So I say then, for the common good of the people, we really need to ban alcohol. It has no nutritional value, no medicinal purposes and it kills thousands and thousands of people each year. We spend billions each year on medical problems related to alcohol. If the nanny state is going to ban certain cheeseburgers and foods, why not booze? How many people do you scoop up each year that died from someone using alcohol?
