The N's have their supporters, like all other old iron, but having run grey, red, blue, orange, yellow, and green tractors you may want to shop around. $2000 in my mind is top $ for a 9N, no live power, power steering, or live hydraulics.
They are nice little tractors up to a point, too light in my opinion. A 9N will do what you have described, but it seems one always needs a slightly larger tractor than one has. Maybe you should look for alternatives and budget a little more before you plunk down $2000 for a 9N.
