You are of course right and if you both are reasonable fellows that will work. I fully expect him to move the survey markers before he thinks I've seen them however he isn't familiar with "witness tree" markers or know where the suryeyor placed them. I've taken pictures of the stakes and included the "witness tree". Here in Missouri it is against the law the cut, kill, remove or damage a witness tree or its tag when used.
