You can get to the page in the parts catalog online, which is the same as in my paper copy, that should make things a little clearer.
Go to caseih.com You'll have to select and click through North America and maybe US Roll your mouse onto Parts and Service at the top That will give you a dropdown where you will click on "Search for Parts" This will open a new window Maximize the window Type Farmall into the search line Scroll down and click on the SuperC Click on hydraulics Click on 149 which is the three-arm configuration of the T/C That will give you an illustration at the top of the frame and a parts listing in the lower part There is a + button at the top of the illustration that will let you enlarge it
The view is from the right end, and should help a great deal with seeing how it is put together.
What I'm calling a pillow block is parts #4 and 5. If you remove the right side arm and the key (#13), the two bart bearing/pillowblock (4 and 5) and the pins and braces linking the shafts to the pistons, the shaft should slide out to the left. In practice, as things wear in, you may have to remove the right side shaft bearing (#14) to get it all away.
Going back to my earlier post. If your outer left arm is not acting with the right arm, then the key at the left end of the shaft (#12) and its keyway are suspect. If it's the inner left arm that is not operating, and the fluid level and filter screen are good, that would suggest the need for an overhaul of the unit.
