I started a thread like this recently but now I am at the get it done point and want to do it as right as I can.
Cover over tractor retaining moisture bothers me. This tractor sat without a cover last winter and a few days was totally covered with water beads! That's why I'm really concerned about covering it and maybe damage new paint and cause a bunch of rusting.
I'm thinking two covers. First cover with regular cotton blankets and then a tarp over this. Thinking the blankets will help absorb the moisture and yet the tarp main still retain it!
Son-of-a-gun! What do some of you think?
I had clear plastic over the hood and fenders--off of tractor--last winter and they did fine. Another tractor part was discolored a bit with white plastic trash bag.
I will say that the black trash bags--big to super big--are really handy for protecting newly painted parts from dust and bird droppings.
