feeder belt is ground driven, when you get to the field you have to engage the drive, it is located on the left side at the rear wheel. pull the safty pin , raise the levler to drop the drive chain on the drive sprocket inside of the wheel. put the levler on the top pin and install the safty(hair) pin. good to go. Good luck
