The County 4wd's were somewhat popular here in NY's Tug Hill region as back in the late 60's-early 70's when they came out they were one of very few 4wd tractors available, and were necessary to deal with the huge winter snowfalls we get here. Don't see too many nowadays as every manufacturer of farm tractors offers 4wd, but some are still around. They tended to be maintenance-intensive and parts were expensive, but when that was all you could get that would work, you took that in stride.
