I do have an Elwood MFWD on my IH 660 but I think it will remain there despite the fact it will fit the 400.
I don't want to remove the Cotton Picker PTO to make the necessary room.
However, I have started to think about putting a Dana 60 axle on the F-400. Power will come from the left side bull pinion gear. I think you have seen pictures of the right angle gear box already in place. My math says the axle will need 12.6 x 24 tires. It's a big project because I will have to install a locker on the differential.
