Have no experience with Jitter but tried Tracfone a few years back. Liked the simple telephone but couldN"T get the coverage. Went to T-Mobile prepaid with a Samsung phone. Has some bells and whistles but no camera which is just fine with me.
DW has a T-Mobile monthly account with a Noika phone. She uses mine whenever she can. I"m trying to get her to switch to a prepaid. I got 1000 minutes for $100, and they carry over. Unfortunately, checking the T-Mobile web site, I can"t find any telephone without camera.
Research has shown that there are T-Moble phones such as I have available from resellers. Also, I find that cell phones are manufactured without any particular net locking on them, that the service provider does the locking and, that they can be unlocked for use on another net.
Sorry I can"t help with the Jitter Bug but there are alternatives out there.
