With chisel or screwdriver drive in one side, rotating the plug, then channel locks or vise grips to fold and pull the plug from the recess. Take care not to lose it into the water channel. Also you can drill a smalll hole and use a slide hammer with a screw in the end such as a dent puller.... works nicely. Never but never reinstall the old plug. New ones are much too cheap and the old ones will not reseal. KM
