Chris, get the biggest one you can pack and can afford. And one thing that many manufacturers don't tell you is there are two ways to rate these starter packs. One is the "manufacturer's rating" and the other is the "UL" rating. The UL rating is much more conservative than a manufacturer's rating is. A UL rated pack will often have 1 1/2 to 2 times as many useable amps as a knockoff brand with a manufacturers rating and rated at the same amps. Get a good one and you won't be sorry. Mike

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
