The box stores like to carry washers with Honda motors with cheap pumps. Reasoning is the motor sells the washer not the pump. I just got through replacing the cheapo pump on my Honda powered washer. Very very common problem as I found out. The pumps go well before the motor.
Like buikanddeere said... go with the Comet or Cat pump. Well worth the investment. I replaced mine with a Comet and much better performance. The good pumps actually cost more then the motor. You will definitely see this in the pricing in the stores as well.
