That's the wife's first choice also. Thing is, we have to pull a 2 ton trailer now and then. The Escapes are only rated for 1.6 ton. The Nissan and Volvo are at 2.2 ton. 2005/2006 models of all 3 run within a few hundred bucks of each other. Wife really likes the Volvo but afraid it's too nice to drive over the pasture :roll:
Mechanic we use says either one would be fine (he's steered me away from a couple bad choices).
