My hunting party - myself, son, and a friend have taken 4 this season.... We all have venison in the freezer. There would have been a lot of winters my family would have gone pretty hungry, if"n the Good Lord hadn"t sent a deer or two in front of me, and said, "Here, shoot this!"
I have had deer that tasted like beef, and some that DIDN"T! You are what you eat... And if they ate like corn fed beef, they tasted like corn fed beef. I"ve gotten pretty tired of venison, even though wife is pretty good at disguising it>
