Yes that is normal. Due to the increased speed of the air at the venturi in the carb it creates cold. In high humidity situations it will be moisture and at right conditions it will form ice. Ever hear the saying icing up carb. Car and truck manifolds have an exhaust crossover in the manifold to correct this problem. Don from Canada
