I live about one mile (as the crow flies) from the headquarters. One of my previous employers was one of the first franchise Caseys in Iowa. He never bought the gas from the corporate office as they charge the same whether the store was close to headquarters or not. Now the corporate owns all of the stores and charges what they want at different locations but "usually" the tankers still come from the same depot. Also was told that they only make a penny or two from gas but inside sales in small towns was HUGE. Beer and cigarettes are always needed in small towns. I still go to them but also go to the competitors just as much.
