i dont know if deere planned to give the tractors a few extra horses. i know for sure ih underrated its tractors in a 130 hp ih tractor 150-170hp is common .this went up until the 88 series , i dont know if ih did this in 706 -806 days or not. ive seen a 125 hp ih 1066 dyno 175 hp with stock pump.
