One could just as easily (and as unfairly) say that anyone who thinks the war in Iraq/Afghan/Paki/Iran??? is a good idea, should be there...if they're too old for military service there're dozens of Contractors and NGO's there, or they could just go and volunteer your services... It's a sad commentary on both our country, and us, when we can't accept disagreement without accusing each other of either being warmongers or unpatriotic... This country was formed by people who disagreed with their government; are we really advocating changing it to a military-force based My Country Right Or Wrong society in which any questioning or dissent is viewed, and treated, as treason?? On a more humerous note, and being half Austrian myself, I might ask, jokingly, if maybe you haven't lived in Germany too long... I'll add one more thing: I never thought I'd see the day when someone gave a war and the Germans declined to wholly and gleefully join in...
