I know this board deals with older tractors, but I will throw this out anyway. We were in the market for a new tractor for our farm 10 years ago or so. Since we only have a Deere and CIH dealer we gave each of them a shot, telling them we wanted a 150-160hp tractor with MFD. The CIH dealer brought out a 7120 (150hp) and the JD brought a 4555 (155hp) on the same day when we were chisel plowing. We ran each tractor on the same plow in the same field for about two hours each. The CIH just played with the chisel compared to the Deere. The dealer just couldn't make it pull like the Magnum. We also liked the comfort level much more than the Deere. Ended up buying the Magnum and liked so much we bought another one (7220) three years ago. Both are still running like a top and will be for a long time to come.
